Live simply with these life hacks and mental health tips.

Since the last blog post, I have had a lot of time to reflect on my personal decisions, interpersonal relationships, leaving work, time with my kids, and a list of other things that can be worrisome or cause some stress. And as much as I could be worrying right now, I'm simply not! I made a choice to be optimistic but trust me it has not been easy, it has been challenging to stay focused on the good y y'all not going to lie. However, I stand on the choice to cut unnecessary stress out of my life for good, keep reading you'll see how.
Choosing to take care of myself in this manner has allowed me to feel freedom like I never have before. Actually, I feel like I am in the most creative space that my adult life has allowed and I'm grateful!
Tip #1 - Stop waiting on people.
Living in a society that heavily weighs on others' views and opinions has become too much for me. That is exactly why I have decided to let that go. I used to ask 3 to 4 people before deciding if it was the right decision. To be honest some of those people were not even qualified to give a say so. But I let it happen and now that is a thing of the past. Especially in personal decisions that only affect my life and my environment.
I even cut my hair, and boy did that get a response that we'll have to chat about later!
Tip #2 - To-do list
Make a list of what you would like to do in the day. Even if it is one thing or twelve. Just make a list, on your phone, on a sticky, in your calendar to-do section. "Decide how you break up your day, and identify to-dos in a list depending on the time of day. This helps keep you accountable. "

Tip #3 - Wake up early
Personally, this is my least favorite. I have noticed over the last few weeks when I wake up before the kids I get to set my mind, I'm less irritable and I am on task with what I have to do once they are out the door. Here is a tip to stay encouraged, remember if you don't do it, who will?
Tip #4 - Values
Align your daily routine with values, and hold yourself accountable.
What values do you prioritize ?
Respect, Having fun, Integrity
Education, Balance, Honesty
Family, Love, Adventure
Stability, Safety, Growth
Tip #5 -Daily Affirmations and words that inspire you
Preparing your mind for the day is a skill that needs time to develop. A positive mind is open to new experiences, which helps in personal growth. It's essential to be mindful of your mental health needs and not just focus on any diagnosis. Words that inspire you can make the day more manageable, particularly during this time of the year.
